SOUL-MATE
Christine, a traveling tailoress.
Christine is a tailoress on a traditional journey what is called "Walz" in german. She will travel on her own for three years. I’ve met her in my hometown where she is doing a job in the theatre and I asked her if I could make a few portraits of her.
More pictures I did with a Minolta film camera will follow when the film is developed.

Instant
In einer Welt in der sich gefühlt alles um Schnelligkeit und die direkte Verfügbarkeit der Dinge handelt müsste ich dem Polaroid abgeneigt sein, dem ist aber nicht so. Egal wie schnell das Foto meiner träuen SX70 Kamera auch entwickelt ist, so nehme ich mir die Zeit dieses zu Kompositionieren. Hier geht es nicht um Instant Kaffee oder Curry King, die egal mit welcher Liebe und Sorgfalt zubereitet Müll bleiben. Etwas schönes zu schaffen ist nicht an Zeiten gebunden und falls doch, dann nur in dem Bruchteil, in welchem der Verschluss geöffnet ist und das eigentliche Wunder geschieht.
Der nächste Blogeintrag wird der Hybridfotografie gewidmet sein, welcher bei der jetzigigen Auswahl einen großen Faktor beigetragen hat.
