Aus einem S/W Projekt in Anlehnung an Helmut Newton. Die Bilder von Helmut Newton in seinem Bildband Womens haben mich immer schon begeistert. Nun wollte ich in Anlehnung daran mein eigenes Projekt umsetzen. Ich konnte hierfür die Fotografin und Model Simone gewinnen. Das Shooting fand in einer tollen, lockeren Atmosphäre statt und wir hatten viel Spaß dabei. Auch sie als ausgebildete Fotografin war von dem Ergebnis total geflasht.

The other day, I shot with Sazze, a beautiful Czech model. I wanted to create a moody, film-like atmosphere. She understood the concept perfectly and "acted" instead of striking the pseudo-sexy poses. I cropped the images 16:9, but after editing, I still was not happy with them. So, first time for long, I thought I’d try the "Analog Efex Pro 2" again, a plug-in software for Lightroom and/or Photoshop. (Unfortunately,) I really like the results. They’re just what I imagined. But at the same time I feel bad that I was not able to achieve this look by my own means.
How do you feel about these little helpers?
Luise and I met, by pure chance, two years ago, not knowing that we are living only 1km apart. After starting with the typical "nice girl sitting/standing/walking in a nice surrounding"-pictures we are more and more developing our own style, trying different things. I am grateful that we share the same passion…
