I booked this location, an inhabited loft, because Irina didn't know it and from the pictures she saw it looked nice to her. I knew the location from shoots before, an I remembered, that it was not so easy to shoot there. Under almost every window is an unattractive german standard radiator, and there are a lot of windows. Many windows may sound like a good starting point. But on every side are windows, so you can't play easily with shadows.

But we made the best of it.

In the middle of the room was this green wall with a niche.It invited us to play with the wall, the niche and the contrast between her soft warm toned body and geometric for of the niche in cold green.

We started with some standing poses beside the niche, just to get warm with the situation before Irina started to interact with the niche.

This picture is one of the very first pictures. I will provide you in one of my following blog with more pictures of this set. They also will be a proof of the colours.

An einem völlig verregneten Sonntagvormittag im Oktober trafen mein Fotograf (der leider nicht namentlich genannt werden möchte und dem ich an dieser Stelle von Herzen für ein wunderbares Shooting danke) und ich uns an der malerischen Ruine der Kapelle auf dem Uhlberg.

Ein Tuch verdeckt mich. Doch ich bleibe sichtbar. So ist es oftmals im Leben. Wenn ich meine, im geschützten Raum zu stehen. Aber ich fühle mich beobachtet, dabei verzerrt sich die Wirklichkeit.

In dieser Serie begibt sich Karinka hinter ein scheinbar verdeckendes Tuch. sie meint, sie könne ihre Gefühle hier ausleben. Dabei steht ihr gegenüber der Beobachter, sieht sie, sieht ein verzerrtes Bild… . Die Serie soll darstellen, wie sich zuweilen versteckte Emotionen durch einen Filter in die reale Welt arbeiten, dass der Schutz, die Verdeckung nur scheinbar ist. Aber auch, dass sich dem Betrachter ein verzerrtes Bild bietet.

Die Serie mit Karinka ist auch Gegenstand der Vernissage im Oktober 2022 (s. Veranstaltungen).
