Coming to an end of a 3 hour surf session at Yoyos Beach in Sumbawa, Indo, a group from Billabong rocks up with three pro surfers, camera crew and some mates. They were really respectful to the surfers already in the line up, giving us wave priority and leading by example of positive surf etiquette. After catching a few waves in their company with jelly arms, I decided to seize the opportunity and went to the homestay, dropping off my board and grabbing my camera. The camera crew welcomed me to hang with them to get some shots with my Canon 7d, no match to their Red Camera and lenses, I captured these amongst others. But these two were my favourites.
This day was one of the highlights of my 3 month Indo and Australian journey in 2014 and seeing these photos brings back happy memories of the beautiful places and amazing people I had the pleasure to meet.
