The coverage with Maryam

The coverage with Maryam - Blog-Beitrag von Fotograf siavosh ejlali / 27.11.2023 13:29

this series talks about the hijab and coverage related issues in Iran. due to last year nationwide protests in Iran, the society started to change in this area. Since then many of the young ladies as the leader of this movement, try to make obvious changes in their daily coverage. considering such situations, I depicted the range of coverage in this series with Maryam who is a literature student (students had an important role in this movement). This collection is divided into two parts so that the audiences can see this diversity and then compare its similarities and differences in their own minds.

Missing You

Missing You - Blog-Beitrag von Fotograf J.J. Garcia / 06.10.2023 05:18

The actual work in three series shots states "Missing You". We always miss someone in our lives. Maybe something, and although by the word "something" we usually mean objects, we often mean feelings. Still, it's something we don't like about life. The meaning of the series depends on each observer and the time we live in.

Show me your ropes

Show me your ropes - Blog-Beitrag von Fotograf Jörg Kersten / 02.09.2023 07:26

I rarely work conceptually. Here is the beginning of a series on the topic of “Connections”. The respective model is given a selection of ropes and can play with them a little.

Why ropes? For me they represent many interpersonal areas and concepts that are important to me such as security, connection, closeness, dependence, being held, touch, pain, being alone, reliability and some more. They all can be seen in the interaction of people and ropes.

I'm excited to see where this leads. 🙂
