What differentiates a fashion image from a movie still? The aspect ration for sure (2.35 : 1). The harsh light, partial lighting and the (facial and body) expression of the model. I love the movie-ish look and I strive for recreating it in my images. Last weekend, I had the chance to try that with beautiful, lovely model Anna from Sweden (https://www.missannasworld.com/). By far, I’m not where I want to get at. But it’s a tiny step into a direction I like…

Manchmal ist es gut nur eine Kamera mit einem Objektiv dabei zu haben und trotzdem können so viele unterschiedliche Bilder entstehen.

The other day I shot with Radmila. She is gorgeous, she is from Russia and she bears a deep melancholy deep down inside.
Radmila is a lingerie designer and so it came in handy that she was able herself to present her own fine lingerie.
Some of my favourite images are not the sharpest one… They more often than not reduce the emotional impact. I have made some changes to my portfolio to portray this idea. I would love to hear what you have to say: with words or images!
A detour through fashion shows… I don’t belong to the circuit, so, it’s not easy to be well placed. I tried to do my best…
