These are some images of the old Högfors foundry where new businesses are attracting positive attention, and of the surroundings.

We used a Lyra hoop to shoot some double exposures in the studio using the Lomo instant Wide camera.

These photos are from 3 seperate photo shoots with Crash using my Lomography Instant Wide camera. I love to create one of a kind double exposures using this camera. The images come out and it’s like magic. Making photos in this way is my favorite thing to do with a camera.
Fae brought her fetish mask and we worked on some surreal erotic shots using my lomography instant wide camera and some fuji Instax film.
Any time that I shoot with BendItLikeBirch, I like to take double exposure Instant Film shots. Since she’s already able to pose in surreal ways, the double exposures can be especially intriguing. I like using the Lomography Instant Wide for double exposures because I’ve gotten used to it’s quirks and it is fairly reliable for me. In addition to multiple exposures, it also lets me hook up to my studio lights.
My workflow is to set up lighting and shoot digital, and grab film shots along the way, or all at the end. I set the digital camera to ISO800 to match the film and make setup easier.
A pack of film is only 10 exposures and sometimes it can take a surprising amount of time to make those 10 shots. Double exposing slows the process down considerably and it can take as long as an hour to get through the pack.
I occasionally make my instant film originals available for sale, and I always have prints. A compendium of my instant photos will be featured in an upcoming issue of NudeArtZine, including a few of these.
I used my Lomography Instant Wide to create these images using Instax wide film in color and monochrome. I shot these at my studio, Photo Bang Bang, using the Cyclorama/Infinity Cove setup. Anaïs is a professional model I hired and this was our first shoot together. I am using Paul C Buff Einsteins for lighting in these photos. The Lomo camera has a PC sync for studio strobes as well as a setting for multiple exposures.
When I compose these shots, I never know exactly what I am going to get because the camera viewfinder is quite offset from the lens. It’s hard to know what it sees, and when I flip the camera upside-down to get the second shot, the lens finder limitation is more apparent. It’s kind of an instinctual setup once one gets used to the camera. It’s become my favorite camera to shoot, but even more so when it’s not being temperamental.
I have completely worn out one of these cameras from shooting and I am starting to get some problems from the one I am using now. It is starting to give me some problems ejecting the first few images from the pack. I am hoping I don’t have to replace it, but It’s getting very annoying to use. I have to open the back and fiddle around with the pack while trying to get whatever magic things that happens to make the film load through the rollers.
Fuji is actively making their Instax instant film, and it’s easy to get. I prefer to buy mine from B&H Camera, who seem to have the best prices in the USA. They also sell the Lomography camera I am using for this shoot.
