This series is part of a quick shooting with a strong young woman, a powerful light from top ceiling to sculpt a perfect body, for my taste the importantest shot is the last one that I've inserted in my gallery,

it's a metaphore of the heavy that a young woman must hold up nowday. but she does it, by herself.

Ich starte heute mit einer kleinen Blog-Serie, in der ich die Bilder, die in den letzten vier Jahren in Zusammenarbeit mit mehreren Modellen entstanden sind. Ich denke, dass eine gewisse Lernkurve erkennbar sein dürfte, wenn man die Bilder vom Beginn bis heute betrachtet.

Der Beginn

November 2021 – Ein Home-Shooting mit Frau Katzenblum. Ihre Ideen zu Outfits und Settings, ihre Professionalität, Kreativität und ihre angenehme Art – das alles hat es für mich total einfach gemacht. Ich war damals noch mit meiner Canon EOS 80D unterwegs und hatte nur eine kleine Auswahl an Objektiven. Trotzdem haben wir recht gute Bilder hinbekommen.

Ich habe die Fotos nicht sehr aufwändig bearbeitet – ich habe vor allem Licht und Farbe angepasst – und genau das macht für mich heute noch den Charme der Bilder aus.

Ohne Frau Katzenblum wäre das nicht möglich gewesen und ich hätte meine Zweifel an meiner Fähigkeit, gute Bilder zu machen, möglicherweise nie überwunden. Dafür bin ich ihr sehr dankbar.

I shoot a variety of formats and styles, but I don't often end up with multiple images that allow a direct contrast and comparison.

Here are three images from the same set that show infrared, digital-monochrome and digital-colour side-by-side.

As I prepare for my next shoot I'm looking to my available film stocks, and can't help by be tempted by the red scale film staring back at me.
