I booked this location, an inhabited loft, because Irina didn't know it and from the pictures she saw it looked nice to her. I knew the location from shoots before, an I remembered, that it was not so easy to shoot there. Under almost every window is an unattractive german standard radiator, and there are a lot of windows. Many windows may sound like a good starting point. But on every side are windows, so you can't play easily with shadows.
But we made the best of it.
In the middle of the room was this green wall with a niche.It invited us to play with the wall, the niche and the contrast between her soft warm toned body and geometric for of the niche in cold green.
We started with some standing poses beside the niche, just to get warm with the situation before Irina started to interact with the niche.
