I have been to a road trip during the last 3 weeks together with my lovely model Priscilla and, of course, I wanted to photograph nudes in the wonderful landscapes on the way (like here, the Oeschinensee in the Swiss alps). That marvelous lake that really looks like a postcard (without the need of any instagram filters…!) is one of the most photographed lakes of Switzerland and there is always a lot of people around: tourists like us.
So, after Priscilla put her bikini to take it off later, we decided to rent one of those small boats, but of course we were not the only ones, so even on that little lake we were always close to other people.
I took those snapshots with my phone before I photographed her with the "real camera" and show them here as a hopefully fun and beautiful little "backstage story" – unedited and just as is.

Virtuelle Bildpräsentation von Fotografie/Fotokunst
Fotografie auszustellen, gerade in dieser uns alle beutelnden Zeit, wird nicht einfacher. Galerien schließen zuhauf, Ausstellungsmöglichkeiten zu finden wird nicht leichter.
Fotokunst in virtuellen Räumlichkeiten zu präsentieren, als Beispiel zu versenden, ist für mich ein wichtiger Faktor.

How it all began… a while ago my friend subscribed me to Harper’s Bazar. First I laughed because I really can’t do anything with fashion and glossy magazines. But the magazine was lying around here and at some point I leafed through it after all. I noticed that some of the fashion spreads were photographed brilliantly and I also really liked the way they were edited. The models had character and the photos were really great. Then Maria was here and I heard myself say: I would like to try to photograph an editorial. And Maria said: Let’s do it!
So here ist the result of 60 minutes of haphazard planning and a week of photo editing.

Homestory part 2
Beim vergangenen Shooting mit Emilia (siehe vergangenen Blogbeitrag) wechselten wir die Location innerhalb der Wohnung auf die andere Seite, weg vom flachen, direkten Sonnenlicht.
Das reflektierte Licht durch die großen Fenster sorgte für eine komplett andere Lichtstimmung, aber nicht minder interessant… 🙂
Immer noch mit der Fujifilm X-T3 und dem 35/1.4 und dem 56/1.2 fotografiert und in Lightroom ausentwickelt.
Shadowplay
Seit unserem letzten Shooting ist schon wieder einige Zeit vergangen und somit freute ich mich besonders, mal wieder mit der lieben Emilia Jung arbeiten zu dürfen. Geplant war eine Homestory ohne viel Schnickschnack – eine Kamera, zwei Brennweiten, maximal noch einen Aufheller oder Diffusor, fertig. Ich liebe diese einfache Art des Arbeitens im Portraitbereich…
Beim Outfit hielten wir es genauso: einfache Unterwäsche und ein einfaches Top, also nichts, was in irgendeiner Form Aufmerksamkeit auf sich ziehen könnte.
Für diese erste Location nutzten wir flache Sonne des Spätnachmittages, als diese durch den Spitzenvorhang in den Raum viel und wunderschöne Muster auf Emilia warf. Bei zwei Bildern nutzte ich einen kleinen silbernen Aufheller von rechts, um den Augen noch ein wenig mehr Schein zu verleihen und die Schatten leicht anzuheben.

a small excerpt from my first meeting with irina. by then i had already photographed several hundred models with more or less experience. some of them have left more than one lasting impression on me, many have been remembered very positively. but like irina, only one model has touched me in my entire time as a photographer.
