Multi-Dimensional Glamour
Brittany Bochart is a traveling model that I hired when she visited Las Vegas. She is very talented at posing and has been a model for most of her life. She's very artistic and creative, which makes my process of photography much easier. Some models don't like the weird/surreal outcomes of the double exposures, but fellow artists always do.
I used my Lomo Instant Wide camera, outfitted with the Splitzer attachment for multiple exposure masking and standard Fuji Instax Wide film (ISO800)
Prints are available in any size.

Between Presence and Absence
A body before it remembers itself. A pause where intention forgets to hold on. Not the pose, not the gesture — but the breath that slips between what was meant and what dissolves.
The face opens like a question it doesn't ask. The gaze arrives after the fact, or leaves before the moment closes. Skin becomes threshold, glass becomes doubt, light becomes the thing that grazes without claiming.
There is restraint here, but it isn't refusal. Vulnerability drifts at the edge of sight — it lives in stillness, in the narrow distance between too close and already gone, in the frictions of proximity that never quite resolve.
Nothing arrives at certainty. No gesture completes its arc. Only the body, briefly unmoored, moving through shadow the way a thought moves through silence — restless, elusive, refusing to land.
This is not about knowing who someone is. It is about the instant identity loosens its architecture — when presence thins to membrane, when the act of looking becomes a shared suspension, uncertain and quietly breathing.
Anzukommen. Zu uns zu finden.
Etwas was im Alltag leider oft untergeht.
Und uns nehmen, was uns zusteht.
Auch Langeweile gehört dazu. Vielen ist dieses Gefühl unangenehm. Viele brauchen immer was zu tun.

Ganz spontan, morgens.

Backroom III
Velvet, Wine, and the Truth of the Night
In the dimmed glow of the "Red Salon," Frau Katzenblum enjoyed the silence of the backroom, while the amber radiance of the whiskey in her glass played with the warm, sparse light of the few existing lamps. Guided only by available light, her contours merged gently with the deep shadows of the surroundings into a scene of pure intimacy. The heaviness of the old furniture and the omnipresent deep red formed a space in which she moved with a calm, almost meditative elegance. It was a silent dialogue between model and room, captured in the genuine mood of the moment that only existing light can draw so authentically.

Backroom II
In the heavy, dim light of the backroom, which captured the quiet intensity of a speakeasy in its final hours, we searched for the tragic behind the glamour. Frau Katzenblum embodied the flapper girl not with laughter, but with a pensive, grave mood, as the whiskey sat on the table like a silent witness. Her fake drunken state was a deliberate portrayal of the emptiness that can hide behind the glittering facade. We used the shadows of that room to capture the vulnerability and gravity that often stand in opposition to the myth of the "Roaring Twenties."
