A White Shirt, Frau Katzenblum, and Three by Three Pictures in a Square
Sometimes, it doesn't take much to create strong images. A white shirt, natural light, clean lines – and a person who knows exactly how to move in front of the camera.
This was exactly the case during the shoot with Frau Katzenblum in my apartment. She not only handled her own makeup and hairstyling but also actively shaped the entire shoot. With great creativity, an assured sense for posture and expression, and an impressive presence, she continually introduced new poses and variations. The interplay of her ideas and my photographic perspective gave the shoot its own dynamic.
In post-processing, I played around with different looks, tried various edits, and published some of them. Ultimately, I decided on three small series here, all in a consistent style: sitting, lying, and with a mirror – three pictures each. These can be seen both here on the blog and on Instagram—there, of course, with appropriate censorship, here in their complete form.
The shoot remains memorable for me not only because of the pictures, but also because of the calm, focused atmosphere that developed. A clear framework – and within it, enough space for expression.
