Since I’ve been trying to widen my photographic range I often accept shootings far away from my comfort zone. By looking through my portfolio you’ll see I always prefer to use natural light and soft styling. So it was a big challenge when Marta asked me to make pictures with her in her home studio with artificial light and artful make-up.So I offered some ideas to her, and we agreed on white covered face and cleavage, with no nudity (another challenge for me) and a few accessories. I brought some different white colors, a tungsten light and a bunch of white roses, which in the end turned out to be Martas favourite flowers. We made some sets with the tungsten light and with her own LED ring-light, wich I maybe will show later.When we were done with shooting I opened the blinds to let in the natural light. I asked Marta to do me a favour and come to the window to take another set of portraits wit the available light of this misty December afternoon.already while making this pictures I was sure the y will be my favourite for this day.
