the old town of berne
I had the pleasure of conducting a photoshoot in the picturesque old town of Bern. The location, an old apartment building dating back at least 150 years, provided me with the perfect backdrop to capture stunning images.
To capture the unique atmosphere of the space, I decided to use the available light. I used a medium format camera, a 35mm camera, as well as Kodak Tri-X and Portra 400 films to ensure that I could achieve the best results. The outcome was images with a dreamy mood and a timeless character.
My model Norma, with short hair and a striking face, and I have known each other for some time. I used her unique personality and beauty to create sensitive and empathetic photos.
The mutual trust and knowledge that we both know exactly what the other wants to achieve helped me ensure that she felt comfortable and the shoot was a success. The combination of the beautiful old apartment building and our well-established collaboration resulted in unique and timeless results.

Last summer I stumbled upon these sculptures at the fascinating home of the late artist Jacques Broënnec in Bretagne.
Der Morgen
Der Morgen drängt sich scheu mir in die Arme,
der blasse, den noch fröstelt im Gelände,
und schmiegt die kühlen Rücken seiner Hände
ans Herz mir, daß mein Blut sich sein erbarme.
Und erst entweicht, dann wiederkehrt das warme
und weiht ihm willig die begehrten Brände …
Doch schon erblickt er fahl der Kammer Wände –
und läßt mich wieder, nach dem kurzen Harme.
Und siehe da, wer war’s, den seine Nöte
mir zugetrieben oder sein Gelüst,
wer war der Knabe blaß, den ich enthärmte?
Es war die hohe Jungfrau Morgenröte,
die sich an mir die jungen Glieder wärmte, –
und mich nun leuchtend auf die Augen küßt!
