A morning in one of the most important museums of contemporary sculpture in Catalonia, the Can Mario Vila Casas museum, situated in my town, Palafrugell. Empathy changes a person. We find several separate psychological states which, with a prismatic effect, succeed in opening up the stream… which subject is our consciousness.
In a short time, if we are open to feeling, the world simply responds with harmony in the midst of a constant search for balance. A balance to which one can only aspire.

I want emotional pictures, that was Stella's wish when we met for the first time. Sadness, actually. But I think it is also often a deep longing that many of us carry inside.
Stella was authentic. I liked our work together and it was a process that enriched me. We photographed in her small flat and a familiarity quickly developed in which such pictures become possible.

Mannheim, 09.2022
10 Menschen, die in prekären Situationen leben, teils obdachlos sind, hatten die Gelegenheit, sich in eine Theaterrolle hinein zu träumen. Die Traumrollen waren sehr unterschiedlich, vom KSK-Soldaten über Nina Hagen bis zur Fantasiefigur war alles vertreten. Die Modelle/Träumer wurden von zwei Gewandmeisterinnen des Kieler Theaters entsprechend ihres Rollenwunsches eingekleidet und anschließend von mir auf der Theaterbühne fotografiert. Anschließend haben wir Abzüge auf Fahnenstoff im Format 240x160cm gefertigt, die jetzt als kleine Wanderausstellung auf die Situation der hilfsbedürftigen Mitmenschen aufmerksam machen. Zudem wurden die 10 Fotos mit einem ausführlichen Begleittext in der Straßenzeitung Hempels veröffentlich (www.hempels-sh.de), Ausgabe 9/22.
