In a territory full of contrasts as Liguria, enclosed between the mountains and the sea, the area of the Beigua Geopark represents an exemplary section of the region, where it is possible to find also within short distances such varied environments and landscapes as to impress the unaware visitor: a wonderful balcony made up of mountains overlooking the sea, where nature, history, culture and ancient traditions represent elements of extraordinary value and interest.
In the last 20 years, this landscape is radically changing, due to wildfires and climate change. Pine woods are transforming into heath and Mediterranean scrub, raining is more violent than in the past, and the land is subject to erosion. Everything is different and nobody knows the outcome of this deep transformation in the future years.

Selfportrait
Bei einem Fotoevent sprachen mich ein paar Fotografen an, weil ich dort analog arbeitete. Sie hätten ja auch noch die eine oder andere Kamera aber gar keine Ahnung usw. So entstand die Idee, einen Workshop zu veranstalten, der nächstes Jahr – so die politischen Gegebenheiten das zulassen – stattfinden soll.
In Vorbereitung dessen entstanden sehr spontan ein paar Aufnahmen von Emmi, die als Modell beim Workshop dabei sein wird.

Dies sind BTS-Bilder meines analogen Shootings mit Diana im Studio von Aleksander Stojanov. Das in meinem STRKNG-Portfolio gezeigte Nude-Portrait habe ich mit meiner analogen Großformatkamera gemacht.

With this post I want to wish a happy new year to all the photographers here on strkng. May the new year bring you many photographic and personal satisfactions.
This year I discovered this platform and I enjoyed to share my work with all the community. I think we need spaces like this, because also photography is menaced under the umbrella of politically correct and the limitations to freedom, more and more stringent in any part of the world.
We the photographers are the witness of our time and we have a mission: to show the world as it is.
