Carrying
The "Carrying" series I created from August 2024 to April 2025, spanning the entire period of pregnancy, and brings together photographic positions on pregnant physicality – raw, calm, and radically visible. In each shot, pregnancy reveals itself not as an idealized cliché, but as a real, physically experienced, intimate, and socially shaped transformation.
The body in these images carries – visibly and invisibly – weight, expectation, responsibility, history, and the future. It carries not only new life, but also signs of power, vulnerability, control, and self-empowerment. The conscious decision for analog black-and-white photography creates a timeless space in which the supposedly private becomes public. The poses range from upright confrontation to quiet inwardness – always with a focus on dignity and self-determination.
The series does not invite us to contemplate "motherhood," but rather to engage with the pregnant body as a political, aesthetic, and emotional site.

Best Road Trips Never Taken
I gave up on a trip yesterday. Mainly because we had failed before and was looking down the barrel of consecutive cold fronts that would dump a mix of rain and snow as the area moved above and below freezing. Two years ago we had a wild rumpus of rain and woke to a quietude of white. The roads are rough at the best of times and wet snow over mud does not improve them. I called my traveling companion, pulled the plug and we went searching for waterfalls closer to home instead.
Even further away than where I'm not now is another photographic wonder recently discovered by the Instagram crowd. I've never been but do know the area. Like many of my favorite destinations the crush of people has grown. We used to arrive in the desert and run naked through it. Now we gauge how many other camps dot the shorelines of the ancient playas or how many cars are at the trailhead. Everything is marked, mapped and massively overgrazed. And while I feel pretty good about myself nearing 60, I am not fool enough to jump headlong over physical challenges that I once have might. I think about this on cliffs and wetly mossy rocks.
So today I'm home. Catching up on domestic chores and plotting the future. These are the trips I dream of and eagerly eye the first available set of days on my calendar.

Second Shooting – Kriz
My second model shoot took place in my apartment, which was still very minimalistically furnished at the time. My guest was Kriz – a creative, athletic, and lively young woman. She brought great energy, motivation, and her own ideas, which made the collaboration pleasant.
The shoot itself was relaxed and fun.
Some interesting pictures emerged that differ significantly from my current style. I see a certain distinct quality in the series, and I could imagine working with Kriz again.

intimate moment
Ginevra
This series is part of a quick shooting with a strong young woman, a powerful light from top ceiling to sculpt a perfect body, for my taste the importantest shot is the last one that I've inserted in my gallery,
it's a metaphore of the heavy that a young woman must hold up nowday. but she does it, by herself.
