Lotta und ich sind seit 4 Jahren für gemeinsame Bilder verabredet. In dieser Zeit haben wir sehr viel voneinander mitbekommen. Als wir uns vor einer Woche trafen, war es, als wären es nicht die ersten Bilder zusammen…
Milchglas
Man macht sich lange Gedanken über Bildgestaltung, Lichtverhältnisse und Formen, aber am Ende des Tages sind es die Schnappschüsse die das Blatt wenden. Geschossen in dunklen Hotels mit gepushtem Film, entwickelt in Rodinal. Korn, welches ein Foto zu Kunst werden lassen, Silhouetten hinter Milchglas, digitalisiert aber nie ausgetupft. Stilmittel oder Faulheit oder beides… aber am Ende des Tages sind es Schnappschüsse die das Blatt wenden.

Am Wochenende war ich mit Amelie unterwegs und ich war sehr begeistert von ihr. Sie hat sich toll bewegt, hat einen ganz besonderen Ausdruck, ist stark und gleichzeitig auch verletzlich. Genau das was ich an einem Model mag.

A year into photography and I have checked off enough topics to narrow down my range of work options to a reasonable set.
I want to do more conceptual work and I want to do so with lots of interesting people who share some of my sentiments and offer new ones all along.
May this short series be the introduction to much to follow.

Sofie in Tokyo
Sofie came to my very small apartment in the middle of Tokyo and we spent the afternoon shooting with whatever light was available. Fun and sweetness in one bubbly personality, that’s what makes her so special.
Timeless atmosphere
For me, forests and mountains have a unique atmosphere. Somehow calming, good to escape from everyday life. What I like most are the cold moments when you can almost feel the silence. I try to bring these abstract moments back to life in my photographs.
The photographs are taken from various locations in Saxon Switzerland between 2015 and 2018. Analogue and digital photographs.
