Dancers continue their formation through programs around the world. I am lucky enough to be able to record the work of the CobosMika Seeds program at Vall Llobrega on the Costa Brava in Spain. In this exercise, the dances are moving blindly helped at times by the contact they have with others. Promising young dances are selected fom applicants after auditiones and come mainly from European countries but there are also some from the Americas and Australasia
Mit Giuliana war ich vor längerer Zeit an einem heißen Sommertag im Hafen. Unter einem Kran gab es etwas Schatten, so entstand dieses Foto.
There is not much to say about this picture. My wife, who is very experienced with fabrics, bought this ten meter piece of fabric. Since my preparation for shootings is usually minimal, I used this fabric, some flowers and some clothing as preparation. Knowing that my only instruction to the model would be, 'Just play with it'
So she used it exactly how she thought it would look good. This is one of the few results without showing her face. Everyone who knows me, knows that I don't like pictures without face.
Ich warte. Am Fenster warte ich.
Nicht auf einen Menschen, nicht auf einen Gedanken – ich kann es dir nicht sagen, auf was ich warte. Meine Seele wartet, sucht. Aber was sucht sie? Blumen trösten nicht. Der frische Luftzug durch den Fensterspalt bringt keine Erfrischung, keine Linderung.
Gedanken sind dennoch da. Allgegenwärtig. Nicht zu greifen, jagen durch den Kopf. Ich bete. Bete wieder. Zuerst ins Dunkel hinein. Dann zu mir. Dann zu Gott. Vielleicht sendet er vom Himmel Trost, sendet Hilfe, sendet Glück.
Iryna bringt bei diesem Shooting viele Emotionen ins Spiel. Dezent, leise, doch stets spürbar. Sie entführt in die Welt der Gedanken, der Träume.
