Modriger Geruch in der Nase, Stille unterbrochen von den Tropfen der nassen Decken. Es war atemberaubend!
Verlassene Räume …. Begegnungen im Treppenhaus … verlebt … nach mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten … geheimnisvoll …Schritte über mir … nun Stille … fotografisch erkundet …
A favorite model I’ve worked with sometimes goes by Dream… she found me on social media and was ready to dive into the deep end on our first shoot. We went to a favorite derelict urbex spot in the heart of downtown, and she fearlessly launched into posing nude, having only modeled a time or two before. She took direction well, but was also excellent at moving and improvising her flow. In subsequent studio sessions, she did equally well, working with light and space, and creating beautiful forms.
I also like to "work a shot" sometimes and have the model hold a pose for a while as I try different camera positions, lenses, lighting, settings, and ideas, and Dream would hold her pose, and take direction for fine-tuning without breaking the overall pose.
Always a great attitude, funny and lively, but took the work seriously… a dream subject.
Sadly, she moved a few states away, so we haven’t had the chance to work together much recently, but I’m hoping to rectify that this summer. Thanks Dream!
Die ersten Versuche mit meiner Zenza Bronica SQ-A. Meine anfänglichen Bedenken gegenüber dem Lichtschachtsucher wurden binnen weniger Sekunden über Bord geworfen. Ein Blick in eine vergangene Welt, in welche ich regelmäßig eintauche und zu ertrinken vermag.
Zurück zu den Wurzeln, nicht nur fotografisch, ich konnte mich schon immer für Industrielles begeistern. Diese Kombination passt nur allzu gut…

Entstanden in einem wunderbaren Lost Place, es war kalt, dennoch so zauberhaft schön… mystisch, geisterhaft, leise und zart.

Ein Rückblick auf meine Anfänge… rein aus Neugier erkundete ich ab Ende 2013 verschiedene verlassene Orte und machte Bilder für mich. Als ich dann privat viel Zuspruch für die Bilder bekam, meldete ich mich ein Jahr später auf Facebook und Instagram an, um meine Bilder auch öffentlich zu zeigen. Dafür stellte ich meine liebsten Bilder als Serie zusammen, diese neun Bilder sind ein Auszug davon.
