In the fall of 2023 I started this project. At first it was just because we needed something anonymous and somewhat Halloween themed.
During that first shoot I saw how she got into character. Transporting into this alter-ego character. With a little bit of anonymity from the mask there was suddenly so much freedom.
Then in 2024 I brought the idea to 5 more models and friends. We changed the settings and let them each bring their own alter-ego character to the woman behind the mask.
Now it's Halloween 2025 AND 4 more have added to their Alter Ego to the project.
Where is it going? First, it's certainly something that transcends a holiday!
Maybe it's a book, magazine, or prints…I'm not sure! But I know its rewarding to do something long term and also leaving flexibility to see where it leads you. It's so much better than "insta" "content".
